The 2023 UET Championship for Apprentice Drivers & Johnnie Walker Cup Heats at the Malta Equidrome

On Sunday 29th October the Malta Equidrome will be hosting a 12-race programme which is surely to attract a good crowd considering that it will consist of the first championships after the summer break.

13 young drivers coming from Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Netherlands, Norway, Spain, Sweden and Malta will try to become Apprentice European Champion in 4 races with horses coming from the Bronze and Copper Categories. But that is not all as some of the top horses in Malta currently in the Gold Category will be trying to snatch one of the 32 places available to qualify for the semi finals of the Johnnie Walker Cup.
