Falkanor Gives Cherise Farrugia her 3rd Trotteur Francais Final

Cherise Farrugia was visibly emotional in the winners’ circle just after she had won her third Trotteur Francais final in just a week. The previous Sunday she had scored a double in the Prix d’Enghien and Prix de Caen and she got close to repeating this once again as she registered a victory with Falkanor in the Prix de Cagnes-Sur-Mer and a dead heat 3rd placing with Hanouchka in the Prix de Cabourg.

Falkanor was given a good start by Cherise to be placed directly behind the favourite Imperial du Stade – a horse that had won both the heat and semi final of this competition. Hot on his tail she managed to find the space entering into the final straight to beat the front runner and registered a comfortable victory.

Ms Marianne Simonnot from the Trotteur Francais International Department presented the trophies to the winners.
