Presentation of Track Record Tokens

During the 27th racing meeting, Dr Matthew Brincat, CEO, presented two tokens in order to recognise two track records which were set during the past weeks. These presentations were made as the Malta Equidrome management appreciates such high level racing which attracts spectators to the equidrome on a weekly basis. Owner Jonathan Zammit was rewarded for the 3140m new record set by his horse Casino d’Ourville on 23rd April 2023 when driven by Paul Galea he averaged 1’14″8/km bettering by half a second the timing that had stood for 15 years. Stephen Ciangura received the token for his horse Crack Money who had averaged 1’12″6/km over 2140m driven by Michael Ellul on 14th May 2023 a third of a second better than the previous timing which had been set the previous October.
