Another Victory for Iron de Ginai

Iron de Ginai took his 2nd consecutive and 5th seasonal victory as last Friday evening he won the 6th Premier Plus race of the year which was once again sponsored by Phone Refix. This was his 6th local start and the first one in the Premier Category having been promoted after his victory in the Bavaria Gold Championship Final.

15 horses were at the start of the 3140m race with odds-on favourite Iron de Ginai having the last number of the field. Once again this 6-year old French gelding showed that he is one to look out for as he dominated the last of the 3 laps coming from behind in a forceful manner and winning easily. He was partnered by his usual driver Charles Degiorgio.

A commemorative token was presented to owners Alessio and Jean Paul Vella.
