3rd Consecutive Executive Security Final for Noel Baldacchino

The feature race during Friday evening’s racing programme was the Executive Security Silver Championship Final. Now in its 5th edition this has become one of the highlights of the racing season as the Silver category is seeing high quality imports capable of offering the excitement one expects in horse racing. The 12-horse field this year was a balanced one athough some horses were being quoted as favourites following their performance in the previous races. The number draw was also a factor to strengthen this and favourite Awesome Kronos did not delude in giving the spectacle one was expecting crossing the finish line in a very respectable average of 1’14″1/km which is the new best time for this final.

For driver Noel Baldacchino this was his third consecutive victory in this final having won the two previous editions whilst for Awesome Kronos this was his 2nd consecutive victory, third one for the year and 4th in Malta from 8 starts.

Presentation of trophies was done by Ms Georgiana Florina Lupu on behalf of Executive Security Services in the presence of Malta Racing Club’s Chairman Anthony Mifsud and Malta Equidrome’s CEO Dr Matthew Brincat.
